Eyelet, Snap and Rivet Setters and Flaring Press
Shop eyelet and snap setters, a double cap rivet setter and the Master Series flaring press for fastening thermoformed sheet and leather. Hand-struck Basic and Journeyman tools set #6 and #8 eyelets and Line 20 or 24 snaps, and hardened Master dies roll eyelets in KYDEX®, HOLSTEX®, Boltaron® and ABS sheet with controlled pressing force.
Pick a series by how much hardware you set. In the Basic Series, a hammer drives a heat-treated stainless ram into a matching base to flare #6 and #8 eyelets or compress double cap rivets, and these compact setters need little bench space. For snaps, the 4.5 inch setter brings its own anvil and handles Line 20, or Line 24 when the leather is thicker.
In the Journeyman Series, male and female eyelet die sets give repeatable results, and the Line 20 snap setter pairs a radiused stainless base with an L20 flaring ram. A stainless die guide keeps either tool aligned for hands-free operation. For higher volume, the 22 lb Master Series flaring press holds hardened stainless Master eyelet dies or Master snap setters. It comes with two wrenches for adjustment, a pre-tapped set screw to lock the top die and three hardened rams that also handle pin flaring. Master eyelet dies can be run in a modified arbor press or drill press as well.
